Let everyone know what you like the most about your timeshare – is it the quality, the location, the amenities, the friends you’ve made…?

It’s changed how we do holidays – instead of racing around trying to see everything, we are staying put in resorts – something we’ve never done before!

I love holiday at quality resorts worldwide at such a low cost. My kids have such great time. Our most recent one is at Coffs Harbour, see my blog here. http://coffsharboureaster2010.blogspot.com/p/boambee-bay-resort.html When I can’t use it, I rented it out and made some money which goes towards my next holiday. I have also managed to exchange at peak season most of the time, like Easter and Christmas holiday. I think people who has negative experience with timeshare is because they really didn’t do their research and learn how to make the most of it. I haven’t even been to the same resort twice – not because I don’t want to, but there are so many other resorts I haven’t been to.

I have to say at first when I bought timeshare I thought uh oh! another disastrous investment. However over the years I have had some great holidays and stayed at resorts that would have cost me double my maintenance fees. Some of my holidays include 2x Tasmania loved it! Coffs harbour, Port Macquarie, Forster & numerous gold coast. I used the week to send my daughter on her honeymoon, paint my whole house inside as a trade and as a gift to my Brother in law who had not been a holiday in 8 years. I have rented it out twice and I currently have 2 weeks banked and 1 I am using to go to Victoria in March. One of the values I find is it forces me to take holidays as I work in high stress position in my own business and I would always find excuses NOT to go on holiday the weeks building up makes me utilise the time. Planning is the key though if you want to go to some of the more popular like NZ, WA Thailand etc. I also think that you can take the less popular and find you can still have a great break its all up to you. Happy holidays!

I have found that owning a timeshare has just got better and better each year and has encouraged me to look at visiting locations I’d never have thought of before. I have wonderful memories, had one average vacation and twelve excellent ones so far and looking forward to many more.

I have loved everything about my Welk Resorts Platinum Ownership since 2003 when we exchanged FOUR WEEKS through RCI and spent TWO MONTHS in Europe with our two daughters. What a dream vacation! That was our FIRST exchange and ever since then we’ve been vacationing at least four times a year in Premier Resorts through Interval International. We recently spent one week at the Marriott Grand Chateu on the Las Vegas Strip. Now that’s what you call “location, location, location” with a view of City Center and the lights of the city right from our window! I’ve always loved traveling but trading our Welk Resort for top resorts worldwide has been the best way to enjoy the feeling of having a home away from home!

just vacationed in Sweden. had a week at Are which was sheer bliss, very well placed resort with all facilities.
Also spent a week in Bodrum Turkey at club Dedeman, was far bu the local bus takes you everywhere. Spacious resorts give you a sense of calm unlike cramped hotel rooms.
