Wyndham Rewards®, the world’s largest lodging loyalty program with nearly 7,000 participating hotels, today announced its expansion into countries throughout Latin America, providing its members with broader access to the Wyndham Hotel Group portfolio of brands.
The expansion is part of the program’s strategy to provide Wyndham Rewards members with earning and redemption options in all 66 countries where Wyndham Hotel Group properties are located. The program is currently available in over 50 countries.[member]
The Wyndham Rewards program was most recently launched in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and Peru at properties affiliated with the Wyndham® Hotels and Resorts, Howard Johnson®, Ramada®, Microtel Inn & Suites® by Wyndham and Wingate by Wyndham® brands. The program is also available at select TRYP by Wyndham(SM) properties.
In addition to an expanded portfolio of participating hotels, Wyndham Rewards recently launched a new global rewards catalog, allowing members, in all countries where the program is available, to redeem points for items that are locally relevant to them. Members can redeem their points for rewards such as gift cards to local retailers and tickets to local events.
“We are pleased to provide our members with earning and redemption options at Wyndham Hotel Group properties throughout Latin America in addition to nearly 7,000 hotels around the globe,” said Robin Korman, senior vice president of Loyalty Marketing and Strategic Partnerships. “Our website is available in Spanish, Portuguese and English so that we can provide our members with the convenience and ease of redeeming their points in their language of choice.”
Wyndham Rewards members traveling to any of the newly participating countries from September 27 through November 26, 2012 will be able to earn 5,500 bonus points after two qualifying stays at participating hotels. Further details will be available on September 27, 2012 at www.wyndhamrewards.com. [/member]
