Thai Airways Offers Faster Check-In Facility
August 7, 2012Thai Airways International (THAI) have introduced a Mobile Boarding Pass service which allows customers to check in at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, Phuket International Airport, and domestic airports within Thailand, ensuring passengers will no longer have to endure long queues at the check-in counter.
The Mobile Boarding Pass or Mobile 2D barcode Boarding Pass is available via Multimedia Message Service (MMS), and acts as an electronic boarding pass which THAI will send to customers on their mobile phones. Passengers will be able to complete their check-in by using the booking code and even change their seats.
As well passengers checking themselves in, the new service will allow the family to reserve a ticket and check-in for the passenger by revealing the passengers mobile number, and the system sending a 2D barcode boarding pass to the passenger automatically.
