Desroches Island Hosts Madagascan Mediation Summit
August 4, 2012Chosen for its remote location and for the ability to isolate and protect the privacy of its guests, President James A Michel, President Zuma along with present Madagascan leader Andry Rajoelina and previous head, Marc Ravalomanana gathered on the remote island of Desroches (www.desroches-island.com) in the Seychelles to find a lasting solution to the challenges which Madagascar faces.
Desroches Island was selected to host this significant and vital meeting as it is one of the world’s truly private islands. It is non-commercialised and the sheer size of the island offers complete privacy, which is paramount when accommodating such a significant mediation.
