London Marriott at Kensington Undergoes £1.8 Million Refurbishment
June 18, 2012Added comforts and a stylish new look are coming to one of the premier luxury hotels in Kensington, London with £1.8 million dedicated to a complete upgrade of all of the lodging’s already well-designed guest rooms and hotel suites.
Boasting 216 of London’s finest bedrooms, the London Marriott Hotel Kensington’s 2012 refurbishment began in March and is expected to be completed this Winter. The total makeover of rooms will include fresh and stylish new décor, lighting, soft furnishings and luxurious Marriott beds.
“We are delighted to announce the next chapter of our substantial investment plans for the hotel,” said John Laird, General Manager at the Marriott’s prominent London hotel near Victoria Station. “Upon completion of this work, our entire bedroom stock will have been upgraded and will provide our guests with a fantastic new experience — offering a fresh and modern hotel to stay, in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington.”
