Marriott Creates New Cocktail For Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
May 29, 2012Marriott International hotels across the United Kingdom are preparing to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee and summer in style, highlighting the Best of Britain with fun and frivolous offerings for hotel guests and visitors.
Kicking off the summer-long festivities, Marriott will be celebrating her Majesty the Queen’s big day on June 4th by offering a complimentary Corgi cocktail in their hotel bars to anyone named Elizabeth or born in 1952*. With Elizabeth being the most popular girls name of the last 200 years, Marriott hotels are looking forward to honouring the Queen and celebrating the Jubilee with her namesakes across the country, which numbered 901,000 at last count.
