Florida Travel + Life’s TV Series is Going Hollywood

Hollywood, Florida will get the spotlight on an upcoming special episode of Florida Travel + Life’s Affordable Luxury, a travel television series that takes viewers to Florida’s hottest destinations. The 30-minute episode featuring Hollywood, FL will make its national debut on the Discovery Channel, March 24th @ 7:30 a.m. Additional dates for airing are March 28th and March 30th on the Velocity Channel which will also offer 16 bonus air dates, running year-round on these stations and SUN SPORTS. The television series, hosted by beautiful Will Christien, is written and produced by the award-winning Bonnier Television Group and presented by American Express and VISIT FLORIDA. During the show’s broadcast premiere, vacation getaways to three Hollywood hotels (Hollywood Beach Marriott, The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa and Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach) will be offered in this national sweepstakes.

Webisodes from the Hollywood episode and the entire series can be found on Florida Travel + Life website at www.floridatravellife.com starting March 22nd and will also be broadcast online on the Affordable Luxury micro site.

The Hollywood, Florida Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), spearheaded the project working closely with sponsors such as The Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa, the Hollywood Beach Marriott, Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach and Nova Southeastern University. The episodes are set to highlight Hollywood’s charming seaside character, eclectic art, live music, entertainment and dining hot spots, and natural eco-friendly attractions, adding emphasis to all of the wonderful things to see and do in Hollywood “This television program is a great opportunity to raise the profile of Hollywood’s beach and the downtown districts while letting people know about all the public and private sector improvements that have been made,” said Hollywood CRA Director Jorge Camejo. Kelley Davis, publisher of the show’s award winning sister publication Florida Travel + Life magazine says, “Hollywood is the perfect beach vacation escape for families, couples and nature lovers.” From vibrant historic downtown Hollywood and family-friendly Hollywood Beach to pristine kayaking adventures and nature tours, there is something for everyone,” Davis said.
