New Zealand Travel Agents Soak up Sun Safari on Coast
March 27, 2012The Sunshine Coast is on show to a group of 12 New Zealand wholesale and retail travel agents this week as part of Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd’s Sun Safari tour of the region.
Visiting from 11 to 17 March, the New Zealand agents will experience tours, undertake inspections and experience the best of the region from Caloundra to the Hinterland and Mooloolaba to Noosa.
Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) CEO, Steve Cooper said, “This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase a diverse range of Sunshine Coast facilities and experiences, integral to expanding the New Zealand agents’ knowledge. Hosting of agents over the week, throughout the region provides us with the ability to build relationships and influence sales to the region. This is particularly important with the announcement of direct flights between Auckland and Sunshine Coast to commence from 1 July as a trial service.”
