Medieval tower opens to public
The recently converted Lovran tower is now open to the public and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding city, Kvarner Bay and Učka Nature Park. The interior of the tower has been renovated to create an art studio where visitors will be treated to a large exhibition of historic pictures and postcards from Lovran.
Croatia, a flight away
A number of low cost airlines have expanded their schedules to offer flights to Croatia in 2012. Ryanair will introduce flights connecting Zadar with East Midlands from 2 July, with prices starting from as little as £45.99 one way.
Accolades & Awards
Croatian hotel joins world leaders
The five star hotel Hotel & Spa Iadera, located in the Falkensteiner Punta Skala resort near Zadar, has recently been added to the world’s finest hotels list. The hotel is the first from Croatia to be recognised by The Leading Hotels of the World Association. Iadera’s signature design, location, facilities, service and first class restaurants contributed to the hotel’s success.
