Stylish Staycations In South West Wales
February 3, 2012North Beach Tenby (www.northbeachtenby.com), the collective name for two luxurious, contemporary apartments in the picturesque beach resort of Tenby in Pembrokeshire, is offering stylish staycations from £650 per week for a family four (or even five) in 2012.
One of Britain’s most popular coastal resorts in Victorian times, Tenby remains a great destination for a traditional family seaside holiday. The town has three wide, sandy beaches (North, South and Castle), totalling 2.5 miles in length, all of which have been awarded Blue Flag status (guaranteeing excellent water quality and beach facilities, such as public loos and lifeguards). Other outdoor activities include hiking the coastal trail, windsurfing, sea kayaking, golfing and boat trips for pure pleasure or a spot of fishing.
If – heaven forbid – it should rain, there is plenty for families to do that is mainly indoors, such as visit Silent World Aquarium & Reptile Collection, Blue Lagoon Water Park & Adventure Centre, Anna Ryder Richardson’s Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, the Pottery Shed Café or Caldey Island, all of which are in or just outside Tenby.
