Titan Travel Launches A Classic Cruise Collection Exclusively Featuring The Saga Ruby And New Saga Sapphire
January 31, 2012In a bid to offer an even wider choice of cruise products Titan Travel (0800 988 5824, www.titantravel.co.uk) has released a brand new ‘Classic Cruise Collection’ brochure offering all the itineraries on the SAGA RUBY, as well as all itineraries on the new SAGA SAPPHIRE, that is due to launch in March 2012.
The Saga Ruby was the last ship to be built in Britain and takes no more than 661 passengers over nine passenger decks, making her a very comfortable ship for long distance cruising. The style of the vessel evokes the golden age of cruising with a wraparound teak promenade deck, a traditional 200-seater cinema, sumptuous dining in a choice of restaurants, with complimentary afternoon tea, a programme of lectures and a different show every evening. The beautifully appointed suites come complete with butler service and the top grade duplex suites also feature a private balcony, hot tub, exercise equipment and a bar.
The choice of cruise itineraries range from the Med, North Africa and the Canaries to the Baltic, a British Isles cruise (to see the Edinburgh Tattoo) and a 15 day ‘mystery’ cruise.
The 17-day cruise ‘North African Wonders’ is a great introduction to the coast of south west Europe and north Africa sailing from Southampton all the way to Algiers with stops along the way on the Spanish, Portuguese and Moroccan coast and includes a very special event in Lisbon on 3rd May when the Saga Ruby will be joined by the Saga Sapphire and Saga Pearl II. This is the first and only time that all three ships will be together and to mark the occasion passengers will be treated to a private concert at the famed Coliseu dos Recreios where soprano, Lesley Garrett, will be a special guest and this will be followed by a spectacular fireworks display. The cruise departs on 30th April 2012 and costs from £1,730 per person including accommodation and meals on a full board basis plus Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service. Optional excursions are at an additional cost.
