UK’s Most Popular NFL Team Set To Play At Wembley In 2012*
January 30, 2012NFL fans can choose to don their horns or wave their stars and stripes as ticket and hotel packages are now on sale for this year’s International Series – the St Louis Rams vs. the New England Patriots.
Friday’s announcement of the 2012 teams was welcomed by the MD of Thomson Sport, the Official Travel Partner of the NFL in the UK, who described the fan experience as ‘unmissable’ with an atmosphere to rival any other Wembley-based event.
The NFL also announced the exciting news that the St. Louis Rams have signed up to play a regular season home game at Wembley in each of the next three years, starting with this year’s game.
“This development means fans can get behind a team with a strong link to the UK and it will help to continue the growth of the NFL in the UK,” said Tom Forshaw, MD of Thomson Sport.
