Four New Properties Added To Simply Chateau Portfolio For 2012 Season

January 27, 2012

France. Been There – Seen It – Done It – But How About a Chateau? Leading French chateau provider Simply Chateau has this month introduced four more stunning properties to its portfolio of now over 250 unique and surprisingly affordable luxury French chateau, manoir and luxury maison.

Set in the heart of Burgundy wine region Chateau Saulieu is a wine lover’s paradise, not to mention a dream for as many little princes and princesses in tow as you can manage. Moat (with rowing boat), turrets, croquet lawn, private woods and a quirky little swimming ‘bassin’ – set in the kitchen garden, not to mention its grand 18th century period décor – it’s got the lot, and is a stone’s throw from some of the most prestigious vineyards in France.

Sleeping 16 in comfort it’s perfect for groups of family or friends looking for somewhere truly unique and affordable to stay on their next trip to France.

Prices start from £280 per person (£4,478 full chateau rental) for a year round 3 night stay or £560 per person (£8,956 full chateau rental) in August based on maximum occupancy on a self catering basis, although catering and food shopping without mark up can be arranged.

Not into wine? What about some history? Le Chateau Normandie is an ancient 15th Century fortress set amongst tranquil open fields and just around the corner from the landing beaches of Omaha and the medieval town of Bayeux. Owned by the same family since 1650 it’s been recently refurbished with a historic but contemporary feel and sleeps 9 in the two main fortress wings, with two separate apartments in out-buildings which sleep 4 each, providing those who seek it a little more privacy.
