Lose Yourselves In Loved-Up Luxury!

January 17, 2012

Spoil yourself this Valentines with a luxurious Couples Retreat Day at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa.

The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Knutsford, Cheshire has launched a Couples Retreat Spa Day offering couples the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival and then prepare for a day of indulgence which includes two luxurious treatments: an Arabian Rasul exfoliation therapy session – one of the spa’s signature treatments – as well as a de-stress muscle full-body massage, with a couples room available. This is followed by a two-course Valentines lunch in the Spa Lounge including a ‘Love Heart’ dessert. The Health Club and Spa can be found in the turret of The Mere’s former stable block, which has been transformed into a haven of relaxation.

“This is a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating package for any couple. The Rasul treatment is a traditional Arabian cleansing ritual which takes place in a private room where different coloured medicinal chakra muds are applied to specific areas of your bodies while inhaling steam delicately infused with pure herbs, reputed to cleanse the respiratory system,” commented Spa Director, Tom Davies. “The ritual ends with warm tropical water pouring from the dome to wash the muds away. It is pure heaven!”
