ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals Participates as a Host City Local Lodging Partner of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge

June 15, 2011

ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals will welcome USA Pro Cycling Challenge riders to Colorado this August as a Host City Local Lodging Partner, donating accommodations to participating cyclists in three of the event’s host cities: Aspen, Steamboat Springs and Breckenridge. ResortQuest has lodging offers available for race spectators including complimentary nights and discounts up to 20 percent off at qualifying rentals.

The inaugural USA Pro Cycling Challenge brings the best of the best in cycling to the U.S., with riders facing breath-taking altitudes up to 12,000 feet above sea level along a 500-mile stage course over seven days. The race is managed by event management company Medalist Sports and sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI). The race will kick off in Colorado Springs on Monday, August 22, 2011 with a prologue, a short individual time trial used to determine which rider wears the leader’s jersey on the first stage. The final stage will finish on Sunday, August 28, 2011 on Broadway next to the State Capitol Building in Denver, Colo.

As a proud Host City Local Lodging Partner of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, ResortQuest is offering several promotions for race spectators visiting Aspen, Steamboat Springs and Breckenridge. The cyclists finish Stage 2 in Aspen on Wednesday, August 24. Guests arriving between August 21-28 get the fifth night free with a five-night stay or longer at the Inn at Aspen hotel. Plus, guests can receive an additional 5 percent off their Aspen stay when they also book a stay with ResortQuest in Steamboat Springs or Breckenridge during the race.
