Six Winners Announced in the 2010 Bluegreen Resorts Photo Contest

July 23, 2010

Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, announced six winners of their 2010 Bluegreen Resorts Photo Contest. Bluegreen owner Aaron Gautier from Milwaukee, WI, won the grand prize, with a photo entitled: “Follow the Leader,” taken while on a Bluegreen vacation at Bluegreen’s Carolina Grande Resort in Myrtle Beach. A first-prize winner and four runners up were also named, each winning a Visa® Gift Card.

“Bluegreen vacations are a blessing for my family,” said Gautier. “It seems vacations get harder and harder to come by so when we get the opportunity to get away, it is comforting to know we will always be taken care of because every Bluegreen resort we have been to has been exquisite.”

The photo contest ran from February 1, 2009 until June 15, 2010 and generated thousands of photos, showing Bluegreen owners at various Bluegreen Resorts. Each photo was posted in an online gallery at colorfulplaces.com, Bluegreen’s travel-porthole website, and visitors to the site voted for their favorite images.

“Being a part of Bluegreen has given us the opportunity and incentive to visit locations we might otherwise not have chosen,” said Mary Holland of Derby, IN, a runner-up winner for her photo “Spring at Bluegreen Wilderness Branson” taken at the Bluegreen Wilderness Club at Big Cedar® in Branson, MO. “It was the first trip we had made during spring months. Normally we celebrate our January wedding anniversary in one of the cabins. The beautiful flowers and shrubs were the inspiration,” she said.
